My grandfather Shri R Padmanabha Rao retired from a glorious service at Central Bank in 1984. He was one of the most dedicated employees of the bank who brought in many systems in place and was revered by peers and seniors alike. He is 90 years old now and living a life of dependence on his family members as he does not have a pension or optimum compensation on par with the dedicated service he rendered to the great Central Bank which has till now only been overlooking his case. While he is not a burden to his family, from the family's perspective, as a retired officer his self respect is deeply damaged due to this oversight and the resultant dependence. Now with age related weakness his depression has only aggravated. If by chance my appeal moves any of the CBOA members they may contact me, if they wish to help this old dedicated officer of Central Bank and prove how the bank remits its graceful acknowledgement to a deserving employee.
