CIRCULAR/GS/2013/18

CIRCULAR/GS/2013/18                                                                      10TH July, 2013

TO ALL OFFICERS:

Dear Friends,

We are reproducing hereunder communication sent to the management of our Bank for the information of all officers.Additional Petrol Reimbursement scheme for Branch Managers. Additional litres of petrol reimbursement scheme was introduced by our Bank in the year 2009, mainly to encourage the officers to accept the responsibilities as Branch Managers. At that point of time most of the officers were happy with the introduction of the motivational scheme to the Branch Managers by sharing their additional burden on
account of conveyance.
Unfortunately most of the Branch Managers are being denied to get the benefit of the scheme by the field functionaries. we have brought to the notice of the HRD on several occasions and requested to revisit
the scheme as most of the officers are not willing to accept the responsibilities as Branch Manager in view of the denial of the facility.
To motivate the Branch Managers for greater mobility, who are at present discharging multifarious responsibilities, we suggest the following for further improvement in the scheme:
1. The facility of additional petrol reimbursement for branch managers was earlier dealt by the GAD .We suggests all HR related issues be routed through HRD only.
2. On our various communications we have requested our corporate office that the additional petrol reimbursement scheme should be extended only to encourage the officers to accept the responsibilities of branch manager as there is no extra benefit to the branch managers other than this.
3. Most of the field functionaries are denying this facility to the branch managers without giving importance to the efforts taken by the branch managers for the development of the business.
4. The field functionaries are rushing with the conclusions and not with the justifications in implementing this facility, which really demotivate the officers to shoulder the responsibility of Branch Managers.
We are confident that your good self will personally look into this matter.

E-voucher verification by Branches The captioned issue of e-voucher verification report and its difficulties
being faced by the branches was discussed at length during our joint discussion held at central office on 26th & 27th of June 2013.We were assured by the DIT that EVVR is still under the process of customization. There is no second opinion that EVVR is an excellent mechanism to verify the correctness of the transactions.
Without knowing the difficulties being faced by the branches, some of the field functionaries have started firing the Branch Managers for the immediate compliance of verification under EVVR.
We request you to give more priority for the customization of the EVVR which is being undertaken by the DIT and also request you to advise the field functionaries not to pressurize the branches.

Friends we will keep you posted of the developments in due course.

WITH WARM GREETINGS

Yours Sincerely,
( A.R.Saifullah )
General Secretary
