FAREWELL TO SRI.M.V.TANKSALE
A grand and befitting farewell function was organized by the officers/employees of our Bank at Mumbai, on 29th July 2013 for Sri M.V.Tanksale on his retirement as Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank. This was a rare unprecedented function attended by more than 600 officers/employees of the Bank. The grace of the function and the discipline of the staff members and the address delivered by our Chairman were seen to be believed. Sri M.V. Tanksale, who was one of the rare Chairmen in the Industry, devoted for all 24 hours to the Bank, deserved such a farewell.
During the tenure of Sri Tanksaleji:-
- The perception of the Bank had changed in the minds of the public and the staff.
- More than 3000 PO’s have been recruited in the last two years.
- Annual promotion processes have been conducted in all scales.
- The Bank has witnessed unparalleled peace on the front of Industrial relations for the last two years.
- More number of DA cases including the cases invoked under Reg-20.3 were settled by him gracefully.
All these and many other things became possible mainly due to Sri Tanksale’s practical and positive approach towards the staff, more particularly the officers & the issues related to them as well as his total non-political attitude.
Your General Secretary, while addressing the gathering, showered encomiums on our Chairman & Managing Director for the splendid job in bringing HR initiatives. The meeting was graced by the family members of our CMD, both EDs & other Executives, Sri S.B. Rode our President/Officer employee Director on the Board of our Bank and Sri Manoj Wadnerkar, Treasurer along with other office bearers & the members of our Association/ Federation.
We thank him from the core of our hearts and wish for him all that he would wish for….and more!

6. It is beyond any one’s imagination as to how such a large bank can be managed with less number of Scale-II & III officers.
