With profound grief, we inform the
sudden demise of Shri.S.Ramesh,
Branch Manager of Kilapavoor Branch under Madurai Region. Shri.
Ramesh breathed his last on 08-07-2012 at around 9.00 am at Chennai. Immediately on hearing the news,
Shri.Nagarajan, Regional Secretary along with the Office Secretary,
Shri.Ravichandran and other activists paid last tributes on behalf of the
Association.
Born in 1953, Shri.Ramesh joined the Bank on 2nd Sep 1974. After working in the Cash department, he was
elevated as Officer Cashier and worked in various branches in Madurai
Region. He worked as Asst. Manager at
Thallakulam, Madurai Main, KK Nagar, South
Gate, Tirupalaikudi and Tirupur till he was promoted
as Scale-II Manager in June-2009 to head the Kilapavoor Branch. Mr.Ramesh
was very well known for his soft spoken and highly dignified behaviour and
making others also cheerful with his humour.
Since last one year, he was suffering due to ailment which has
ultimately snatched his life. He is
survived by his wife and son.
Shri.Ramesh remained
active in the organizational activities and also remained an executive
committee member during various terms.
Our Association has lost a sincere and vibrant member. We convey our heartfelt condolences to his
family members.
